I dunno why am is so irritated. But I am. Ghar ka kaam pisses me no end. And then, I think this whole India trip is a fiasco. Hvnt gone out, havent talked to friends, havent done much of anything. Im actually wanting to return to NYC even tho its not got much to offer.
Damn. why is life so tuff. Why did i ever decide to marry and attach my SELF to the whims and fancies of another? Why cd I not life without a partner? by myself. Why does a fucking human have to be social. I hate it all.
So this is what iv done since today morning.. this last day of 2010... made bed, put clothes to dry, cleaned the room. dont think my life amounts to anything at all right now. its basically life of a maid who is packed and shunted to whereever her master takes her.
My purging session after a gruelling day of work - outside and inside of my house... If I do manage any "My Time"

Im back
Hey look! Im back. And how much has changed.. so soon too!!
Im not working anymore..Im not in the country I used to be in, Im not near my parents (and that is a bit of a bother) and I am not working.. oh did I already say that?
See, the thing is recently when I went to bombay, I found a diary I used to assiduously write waaay back when; and it dawned on me how utterly interesting and fascinating it is to read happenings of yore (that dont seem so important or worth noting then, but in retrospect are).
So heres my list of things that happened to me in the past year or two
1. To start with I moved to an outstanding place - Manhattan from a not so outstanding Gurgaon. Our second apt in Manhattan, on the 35th floor, has THE most incredible view, overlooking the East River and Queensboro bridge on one side and the Manhattan skyline on the other. We can see the Empire State bldg dressed in beautiful, different garbs on various days. To accompany that is Chrysler bldg. Central Park is walking distance as is Times Square. Its nice.
2. We bot a penthouse in Gurgaon. Its a beautiful property. LIke any other property transaction in India, the path of this one was paved with lots of pain too, but in the end.... we are proud owners of a lovely place. YIPPPeeee.
3. My son turned 4 and is growing up each day. Each day he surprises us by showing us how smart and sharp and handsome hes becoming and Im already wondering about various things are various times of the day - will he be a big shot scientist? a rock star? an actor? a doctor? a painter? a musician? how soon will i need to start fending girls off him? will he love me as much when he grows up? Most of all I wonder if I will be a good mom.. will I let him grow? provide him the right tools and opportunities? will I be able to control my impulses and temper and crazy moods so as to not have him affected... oooh the list is endless.. the doubts, fears, the happiness and the sheer wonder of it all
4.I left a job I loved and was doing very well at. Its still a sore topic. So shall write abt it when I feel less emotional and can be more objective
5. Got an opportunity to show my mum America - DC, Baltimore, Jersey, NYC, Hawaii, Vegas, LA, San Fran... Was a helluva trip.
6. Converted to being an Apple aficionado with MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad
6. For someone who used to nvr enter kitchen, living in america was a great eye opener and leveller. I now not only cook, but also clean like a beautiful maid in manhattan ;)
